At Banyan Consulting, we understand that you may want to reduce your tax liability within the legal constructs of the Australian Taxation Laws. This does not happen by chance or by accident – we help you plan for this. Planning to meet within the last quarter of the financial year, our team plans to help minimise your business tax liability, both legally and ethically. Some tips and tricks that we will discuss with you as well as help you to plan and prepare for:

  • Before 30 June, paying your directors fees and any staff bonuses (if any are payable) – Tax Planning
  • Both the pooling and the scrapping of depreciating assets
  • Helping you to write off bad debts before the end of the financial year end

As the lockdown rules have now tightened for all New South Wales, our office is closed during the lockdown period.

 

All Banyan team are now working from home until further notice. This, unfortunately, means we will not be able to collect mail correspondence relating to your matters (e.g. mail from the ATO, etc.) on a regular daily basis. (our PO Box is located in Sydney CBD).

 

Please expect some delays in our paper-based correspondence to you in the coming weeks. All correspondence will be sent electronically via email or via the Client Portal, until the lockdown restriction eases and allows us to re-open.

 

Rest assured we are doing our utmost to keep things moving and work around this restriction.
